Butthole Surfers 1986-04-30 Venue: setlist: Location: Unknown 01 "Backline" Intro 02 WNYU Interview 03 Mark Says Alright 04 Johnny Smoke 05 Graveyard 06 Sweat Loaf 07 100 Million People Dead 08 Cherub 09 Psychedelic Jam source: VPRO FM>FM master lineage: fm(m)>Cooledit Pro 2.0>.wav>CD>EAC>flac(level 8) This is definitely an upgrade from the millions of bootlegs floating around of this, which is why I chose it as my first Butthole Surfers upload...let's stop the nonsense of shitty bootlegs, shall we? You can find parts of this available as the 'Acid House', 'Dick Gas 45' and 'Maung' bootlegs, but none of them have the complete broadcast and all of them are from a multi-gen'd source. Here is the complete show from the master tape of the original broadcast, including the original IDs cut by the Minutemen and Tex & the Horseheads as the intro! The source tape is a tad old, hence, there is some warble to start off and some slight dynamics loss at times, but still a strong B+ \ A-, and certainly better, and more complete than what has circulated in the past. The band was a four piece at this time, with only KING on drums, prior to Teresa's return from her hiatus, and post Cabbage's tenure. More info can be found about this, and every other known Butthole Surfers show here: http://www.jasonramke.com/bhs/show.php?era=80&year=1986&id=19 take a gander... well. Enjoy this, but fer chrissakes... please do not encode or disseminate MP3s of this! It's an upgrade, remember?!
