Somebody said recently that they only had a lossy copy of this, so here she is, a lossless copy from the master...
Long thought to be a soundboard recording, the soundman, Whitey, confirmed that this is, in fact an audience recording. You may never know it from the sound, an A+, but the crowd is a bit too loud to be a SBD.
This is the last known Butthole Surfers recording of 1986. The next known recorded performance isn't until the April 3, 1987 Variety Arts Center show. (somebody prove me wrong on this...please!)
While I prefer a couple of the other August 1986 shows, it's only because of the inclusion of 'Whirling Hall of Knives', sadly not played this night. The sound of this one certainly beats the others, and rivals the recently seeded 8/29/86 Graystone Hall show.
