Here is a classic from the Butthole Surfers Summer 1987 European tour. Thanks much to Guenter, who is now a member here, for providing the master fer this one!
The video for this surfaced many moons ago, but was dark and incomplete, missing U.S.S.A. The only known audience recording in circulation at that time was thought to have been complete because it included the U.S.S.A.. It didn't have The Shah Sleeps in Lee Harvey's Grave. Now, direct from the master is the complete performance, from start to finish.
The sound quality is pretty glorious too, I give it an A-. The performance is flawless, and though the setlist is a tad more conservative than some of the other shows from this tour, you won't be at all disappointed by what's here.
The 'Roky' and 'Psychedelic Jam' from this show were included on the ECSTACY bootleg LP, not done by Mr. Meesen and obviously from a higher gen. source tape. This is a great upgrade to those versions...plus it's the full gig...
