|---------------------------------------SHOW-NOTES----------------------------------------|

Second time I saw Hot Water Music live. First and last time I saw them was in 2010 which was also a festival show (Novarock Festival). So yeah, Hot Water Music played as a late night special after a band called As I Lay Dying. Hot Water Music started a few minutes after midnight (so technically they played on Saturday, August 13th) and they were scheduled to play until 01:15AM in the morning, but played approximately only 56 minutes . They had a good crowd at the beginning, but as their set progressed more and more people were leaving the concert.

A lot of drunks and stupid acting people around so I had to move sometimes, which I think you can't hear in the recording though. The ground was all made up from wooden chips and some idiot was constantly throwing wood chips in the air which would also land on me. Yay! I was waiting to be asked for a cigarette the whole show and of course some little girl came up to me during the end of True believers, but luckily again it's not audible at all.

It started to drizzle after the first few songs, but I didn't want to stop recording, because I was waiting all day long to record them. So in not stopping the recording I (maybe) risked my equipment, but as I said it was only drizzling at the time. It didn't start to properly rain until Wayfarer though. So I stayed. In the middle of Wayfarer though I had to reposition myself under a tiny roof that was on the level as the left stack of the PA. I stayed there for a few songs and went out again when it drizzled/stopped to rain. You can hear it because I turned my head away from the stage, but it's only a few seconds so it should be fine.

Otherwise there isn't a lot to tell really, besides that there were 2 full cups of something (probably beer) thrown at Jason in lightning speed. I got thrown at with beer too, luckily it landed just a bit over my shoulder and I wasn't soaked in it. The first one hit his monitor and exploded like a water bomb, but I think he didn't get sprayed at all. The second one went right between Chuck and him. You can hear Jason address the matter after It's hard to know.

Enjoy!
