BLACK FLAG 3 x 7" - "Licorice Pizza" - "Police Story" - "Spray Paint The Walls" Transfer (applies to all): original 7" -> direct drive Marantz TT -> .wav -> CD (master) -> .flac First up is maybe the hardest to find 'Flag 7". This was given as a freebie out of Licorice Pizza record store. 2 tracks recorded at Target, sometime fall 1981? Licorice Pizza: 01 Thirsty and Miserable 02:11 02 Life of Pain 03:22 Next we've got the bootleg 7" 'Live: Police Story" This was booted around 1992/3 if I remember rightly. I saw it glowingly reviewed in MRR and was lucky enough to get a copy from a vinyl trader I knew at the time. There is no info whatsoever on the sleeve, other than the tracklist. Both sides of the sleeve are the same, but I can tell you this is a mid-1981 Dez on vocals era soundboard... Raw and hot as hell, and an excellent A- quality wise. 03 Police Story 01:30 04 Depression 02:37 05 Nervous Breakdown 01:49 06 You Bet... 00:48 07 I've Heard It Before 01:14 08 Jealous Again 01:52 Finally 'Live: Spray Paint the Walls', the sister 7" boot to the Police Story 7". Same show if I'm not mistaken, same quality. Charged! 09 Spray Paint the Walls 00:47 10 Room 13 01:58 11 Rise Above 02:19 12 Six Pack 02:13 13 Life of Pain 02:30 Burn this without gaps between the tracks! I've done all the fiddly work for you to present these the best way possible!!! Clocks in at 25'17" Enjoy!
